[15 Nov 2007|10:51am] the PA newspost linked to one of their older posts about prince of persia warrior within: They've got these Raider guys that are essentially the Cannon Fodder of Time, jackhole pincushions there explicitly for you to puncture. They're mean or whatever, but they don't turn into crows or explode which makes them fairly mundane by Warrior Within standards. The problem with these guys is their voices, which are hilarious, and not grim. You can't feel tough when you cut these guys. Halo has those little grunts, and I guess I'm supposed to feel like a bad-ass when I destroy them but I actually just feel like an asshole. They both seem like races that just fell in with the wrong crowd. What they need are compelling after school activities, not death. (2 screams :: the infinite abyss)

In a kindergarten in Stockholm, the parents were encouraged by the preschool teachers - apparently ideological pioneers - to equip their sons with dresses and female first names. There are now weeks in some places when boys HAVE TO wear a dress. ...to the disgusting. The number of rape charges in Sweden has tripled in just above twenty years. Rape cases involving children under the age of 15 are six - 6 - times as common today as they were a generation ago. Most other kinds of violent crime have rapidly increased, too. [25 Jan 2007|06:34pm] all my breaks are devoted to writing and rewriting my physics assignment, s'why i haven't posted. filmed part of the spin yesterday. it was frigging cold. cold is being generous. my hands probably almost fell off, like three times, and i was hit by a couple of snowboarders (well, they fell and plowed into me, i guess). tomorrow's the conclusion of winter challenge, and i'm at that concert, but at least that's indoors (yesssss). don't know whether i want to go to eng ball either... guess i'll decide by tomorrow. til next time (4 screams :: the infinite abyss)

[23 Jan 2007|10:36am] in site working on a physics assignment. which is friggin tough =/ oh well, it's due friday, i've got plenty of time (if anyone is in PHY1122 and wants to help, then by all means). i have an interview for some summer camp thing here at the university in about an hour... don't know what to expect from that, i'm not dressed up or anything, but oh wells. it'd be a nice job, i suppose. speaking of jobs, i am looking for employment for the summer -- which isn't that far away for me (we finish april 14 or something)... and i'm hoping to move out so i guess i'll be working lots during the summer. anyway, till next break.
